Ozzy Given New Wings – Token2022 Solana Token Relaunch

 The ticker & name issue on DexScreener, Raydium, Jupiter & TG bots is all about to be behind us for good. I would like to point out, this type of issue in a new memecoin project, would have certainly killed 99% of projects. But, not Ozzy! We are the 1%. We are going to be a top memecoin and project, period. This is going to happen.

We had 3 choices to deal with this ticker/name issue. First option, keep waiting on sol scan team to perform a miracle for us and go against the exact thing making meta data immutable is for. Definitely does not look like this option worked for us, and it is what it is now.

Next, we could have done nothing and just kept going on as we have been. But, we saw the writing on the wall here tbh. Ozzy WAS in big trouble. I said “WAS” for a very good reason, keep reading….

We have insider knowledge of course as the devs of this token that others do not have and as such, we decided to take matters into our own hands here for the sake of Ozzy’s long future that is now going to happen.

Option 3. Drastic move was needed immediately as Ozzy slipped further. Option 3 is what we chose. And we have succeeded in not only coming up with a solution for our on-going name/ticker issue on the mentioned platforms.

The solution for our main problem was to mint a new CA with same starting supply of original CA, create a new liquidity pool for it and then lock the LP.

We then decided we’re going to match whatever amount of Ozzy you’re currently holding with the same amount of the new token. It’s important to note here that we’re giving a matching supply to you guys for your loyalty to Ozzy and that we are not asking for the old tokens back.

Once you receive the new Ozzy tokens with new CA in your wallet, you can do whatever you want with the original token. Sell it, hold it, or whatever.

Just do not buy the original CA from this point forward, as we are only airdropping matching token amount to all holders up to this announcement’s timestamp.

As this was the only choice we felt we had to save Ozzy at this point, we jumped in and got it done. We wanted to do it sooner rather than later, as Ozzy is going to go far. And the name/ticker problem basically handicapped us.

Since we had to do all of this to fix this problem, we decided to take this once in a lifetime opportunity to look at what else we could do now to give Ozzy some new wings and a long future.

Ozzy is an original meme and he’s funny as hell. There was zero chance we were giving up, not happening. We have a community of 500 members in TG, all of our socials are setup and we have a nice website, we’re going to update DexScreener immediately upon launch and Dextools next as soon as we have the funds for it. So, this is effectively a relaunch of the Ozzy token, but it’s definitely not the same token.

Now, let me tell you about our new creation here. We went with the Token2022 Solana token standard with extensions here. Sometimes called the SuperToken. This is a token that gave us the best chance at sending Ozzy to a top memecoin.

Why? The new Ozzy token has a 3% transaction fee tax which will automatically provide the project with funds to propel Ozzy higher and higher. We will give exact details on how the 3% will be used soon, but we can use this for things like buy backs, promotions, collaborations, ads, calls, charities (live save an owl), etc… This one change gives the project much more potential and longetivity.

Every single wallet that receives this airdrop is also going to be given a free mint on the upcoming Ozzy NFT collection, which is going to be a 10k collection with rarities. This is just another way we were able to come up with to reward all of you loyal holders of Ozzy.
